Food Distribution Project 

As a Mawlana Abdur Rashid Socaila Welfare Association, we have food project program, our project aims to distribute integrated necessary food assistance to forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals, who are known as Rohingya people and Arakan Muslims. It is known to all that they are living there in a difficult situation. However, the project will contribute to a family the 15/20/30 days food necessities, and also it will be easy to take a quiet breath.

The reasons of this Project

It is known to all that Bangladesh is the eighth-most populated country in the world with almost 2.2% of the world's population, where more than 90% of peoples are Muslims. Also, population growth is indeed very high there. With this condition, Bangladesh has witnessed an unprecedented influx of Rohingya refugees arriving from Myanmar. The focusing point is that More than 80% of Rohingya or Arakan Muslims there rely on in-kind food distribution from donors or concern authorities there.  

Besides this, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the situation is more crucial than other times. In this perspective, the project is aimed to distribute necessary food assistance to them.

Our main purpose  of food project aims to meet the necessary daily or monthly food needs considering the pandemic situations.
