Who are we?

Mawlana Abdur Rashid is a islamic scholar, He was born in a noble Muslim family in Comilla district of Bangladesh. His father was a respected person that time. He started primary islamic education from madrasah and he finish class he went to Darul uloom Hathazari Madrasa and he completed his master graduation ( MAWLANA) from Darul uloom Hathazari. He also was a first  batch  student of Tafsir in Hathazari Madrasa.

After finishing his graduation he went to Barishal and worked there two years. He resigned from job and he returned to comilla and establish The Jameya Islamia Narankora Madrasha with Mawlana Anowar Ullah . He teaches Bukhari Sharif there. He had lot of Students in Bangladesh. He was also a humanitarian aid lover person, as exemplified by his distribution of Iftar among the poor during the month of Ramadan. He used to serve sick people for very little money. we encouraged by his humanitarian work, we started a social welfare organization in his name and got registered as a social welfare organization from the Government of Bangladesh. 

Mawlana Abdur Rashid Social Welfare Association (MARSA)  is a faith-based relief and development agency working to save and transform the lives of some of the Banglades most vulnerable people. Established in 2008, we now work in over the Bangladesh serving people and communities in crisis,according to need.
